ABOUT THE COMPOSER

Danielle comes from an eclectic variety of music backgrounds. She started playing the piano at an early age and was vigorously trained in both classical and jazz. Her playing and writing experiences range from jazz combos, to small orchestras, to indie rock bands. This has helped mold her into a composer with versatile abilities.

She received her Bachelor’s in Media Composition from Cal State Northridge in 2007. There, she studied with the brilliant Elizabeth Sellers as well as jazz department heads Matt Harris and Gary Pratt. She continued on with her post graduate studies at UCLA’s film scoring program, where she received high honors. Through UCLA, she had the unique opportunity to compose, arrange, orchestrate, and conduct for film and commercials.

Since then, Danielle has interned with ad agency music house, Comma Music, as well as other independent businesses developing promotional adverts.
